[ There were a lot of things about your attitude he didn't like Adele. When it came down to it, he thought you had more issues than he did. At least he was a fundamentally good person. You and your husband? Well, he wasn't so sure about you and he wasn't sure how your daughter turned out to be as fabulous as she was.

Of course, that's all the growling of a groom who hasn't won approval of the parents. ]
