I agree. On one hand, everything is free meaning that I can even pick up some weapons without having to pay anything. On the other hand, it seems to stagnate the town. Very little things can be developed and done without money, so it creates a kind of lull in the town and sometimes you have to barter skills and items to get somewhere.
