"I'm surprised too. Unless they're going to use this little happening as a way to come out of the woodwork. They'll be saying, 'hey look, that Kara girl was able to get a free pass with the family! We should go too!' You know, and it'll be like a big party."

She knew she had gotten the girl's name wrong, but somehow she couldn't bring herself to care. Until it was proof positive that she was her niece, her stance would remain the same.
